Sonia Allam Casting are beginning the search for a lead role
in a new, untitled 10-part comedy-drama series for CBBC. The production is set in Manchester and centres on a British South Asian family.

We are specifically seeking a British South Asian girl, with a playing age of 10 (real age 10–13), based in the North West, ideally with a native Northern accent.

The character is described as smart, inquisitive, focused, and funny.

Filming is scheduled to take place in Manchester during Summer 2026.

We welcome applications from young performers who fit the brief regardless of prior professional experience.
