CASTING CALL – BBC COMEDY SERIES

TELLUS (Male, 9-10 years)
Must be age 9 to play down to 7/8 years due to working hours.

WELSH ACTORS ONLY – Ideally Cardiff or Valleys accent
Tellus is a funny, thoughtful and sensitive 7/8 year old boy and has been raised by his mum – an organic, homeopathic, earth-loving soul – on a diet of avocado, tofu and plant-based scrambles. Tellus shares a beautiful bond with his grandfather (played by Steve Speirs), not least because he makes him bacon baps, but because his grandfather truly hears him, sees him, and they genuinely love spending time together – especially at the allotment.

We are looking for a fantastic young actor who has great comedy instincts and a naturalistic delivery.
