Emma Gunnery Casting (‘Oddity’, ‘The Rainmaker’ and ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’) put out this open casting on the weekend looking for boys for an exciting new feature film.

‘CASTING CALL

11–14 YEAR OLD BOYS WHO LIKE CLIMBING/SWIMMING

We are casting roles for boys with a playing age of 11–14 years old for an exciting new feature film. We are particularly keen to hear from those based in Donegal or the North West region of Ireland but we will consider people based anywhere in Ireland.

No previous acting experience is necessary but boys need to be confident swimmers and comfortable with heights. Any experience of rock climbing would be very helpful too.

These roles will require a southern Irish accent. Some dialogue will be as Gaeilge so if actors speak any Irish, please do flag also.

Applicants should have good availability for rehearsals in January and filming across February next year.

The actor cast will be paid for the role.
