
Isabella Odoffin, the BAFTA-nominated and BIFA-winning casting director for ‘How to Have Sex’, as well as many theatre productions at The National Theatre and beyond, sent out this open casting call earlier looking for an Actor for a feature film shooting in Kenya in Spring 2026.
The post reads as follows:

FEATURE FILM OPPORTUNITY
Isabella Odoffin Casting is currently seeking people who fit the following brief for a feature film shooting in Kenya likely in Spring 2026.
CASTING BRIEF:
- BOY OF BLACK AFRICAN (SUB-SAHARAN) ETHNICITY
- AGED 11-15 YEARS (Playing age 14 so cannot look too old)
- MUST SPEAK AN AFRICAN LANGUAGE
BASED IN KENYA, ELSEWHERE IN AFRICA OR UK/EUROPE
No previous/professional acting experience necessary.
If successful, the role will be paid.
