
Isabella Odoffin, the BAFTA-nominated and BIFA-winning casting director for ‘How to Have Sex’, as well as many theatre productions at The National Theatre and beyond, sent out this open casting call earlier today looking for an Actor for a recurring role in a major TV Series.
The post reads as follows:
‘TV SERIES CASTING
SEEKING A BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED AFRO-CARIBBEAN PERSON IDENTIFYING AS MALE FOR A RECURRING ROLE IN MAJOR TV SERIES
BETWEEN THE AGES OF 40 – 65 YEARS
Must be able to do a believable Jamaican accent
Casting Director Isabella Odoffin is seeking someone for a recurring role in a major TV series that is shooting in and around London from late autumn 2025
No previous professional acting experience necessary
If successful, the role will be paid.
