FEATURE FILM CASTING CALL TWO KIDS

We are looking for a young person whose heritage is either Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Jordanian, or Iraqi, to play a character who is a boy in a feature film. Must be fluent in Arabic and English. Should be 18 or over (Or 17 if out of licensing) to believably play 16.

After surviving interrogation and wrongful imprisonment in Syria, Ali fled with his family to the UK. A year later, he’s living in a quiet Yorkshire town, struggling to adapt to the language, the culture, and a school where he’s seen as an outsider. Quiet, emotionally guarded and weighed down by trauma. Ali tries to stay under the radar. But there’s more to him than the silence – a dry sense of humour and a very British wit that he’s inherited, surfaces in the most unexpected moments. When racial tensions explode at school, Ali is reluctantly pulled into the spotlight.

We’re looking for a young actor, fluent in Arabic and English, who can deliver a performance that is deeply internal but rich with nuance – someone who can carry both emotional gravity and moments of understated comedy.
