The weekly box office results are in for February 7th – 13th.

Two new entries graced the US Box office last week, in what was another slow week. ‘Heart Eyes‘, a horror rom-com, (that’s not a mistake) follows a deranged masked killer as they stalk the lovebirds of a different American city every year. Debuting to good reviews, lands this slasher movie at the number 2 spot.

Love Hurts’ starring the delightful Ke Huy Quan (Everything, Everywhere all at once) isn’t enough to get this action film to the top spot nor to impress the critics at Rotten Tomatoes. ‘Love Hurts’ lands at no.3. Which means the animated ‘Dogman‘ retains its number 1 spot. Although it shouldn’t get too comfortable as the Captain is on his way!

Tune in again next week to see how well ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘ does at the box office!
