Martin McDonagh is a British-Irish playwright, screenwriter, and director known for his darkly comedic and often provocative storytelling. The BAFTA, Oscar nominated and ever controversial director is gearing up for his next feature film ‘Wild Horse Nine‘.

According to IMDb there is no synopsis available, which is unsurprising for a McDonagh film, he likes to keep his cards close to his chest. But regardless of this, fans of his work can expect barrels of dark comedy, emotional depth, and without question, morally complex characters. Most people would be familiar with his previous film ‘The Banshees of Inisherin‘ a fantastic film set in 1920’s Ireland. Starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan, who delivers one of the most heart-breaking lines in the dark comedy ‘There goes that dream’. Now, back to ‘Wild Horse Nine’, although details are under wraps, some household names have been added to the cast. Recently Sam Rockwell, Mark Ruffalo, John Malkovich and Parker Posey have been added to the cast which means, actors, a casting director has been attached. Unsurprisingly once again, we are still in the dark of who this may be. But at Lucky Break News, we do the investigating so you can get onto your agents.

Our best guess? Sarah Finn Casting! Why? She cast 2 out of 3 of the last Mc’Donagh films. If you are unfamiliar with her work, we would suggest to get familiar. She is quickly becoming one of the biggest CD’s out there. Her most recent work include ‘Skeleton Crew’, ‘Agatha All Along‘ and ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘.

The only hesitation we have in suggesting Sarah Finn would be her workload and attachment to Marvel. She currently has 12 projects on the go and the high majority of them are Marvel projects. We would imagine these would take priority. That being said, Sarah Finn and her team are clearly capable of multitasking without compromising any quality of the casting process. Which really speaks to their professionalism and efficiency. So in the coming months be sure to keep an eye out for castings!
