CapeUSA and 1187.movie.casting just posted this open casting call on behalf of Alyssa Weisberg Casting (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Super 8, Cloverfield, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) for a Netflix Feature Film.

The caption reads as follows:

‘Alyssa Weisberg Casting (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters) is seeking the following for 4 LEAD ROLES (paid) in a Netflix Feature Film 11817 starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, directed by Louis Leterrier. Standard American accent required for all roles.

BOY: Age 10-12. East Asian or Mixed Race (East Asian/Latine) Character is portrayed as a 10 to 11-year-old. He is intelligent, good-hearted and adaptable.

GIRL: Small 9-year-old to play younger (must be 9 by end of March 2025) East Asian or Mixed Race (East Asian/Latine) Character is portrayed as a 6/7-year-old. She is a smart, brave, compassionate, athletic and funny young girl. ***Aerial silks/gymnastics/trapeze/climbing experience is a plus.

GIRL- age 11/12. East Asian or Mixed Race (East Asian/Latine) Character is portrayed as an 11-12-year-old. She is a smart, courageous, artistic, athletic and very resilient. ***Aerial silks/gymnastics/trapeze/climbing experience is a plus. Must be able to swim/comfortable in the water.

BOY- Age 15 (18+ to play younger preferred). East Asian or Mixed Race (East Asian/ Latine) Character is portrayed as a 15 year-old. He is intelligent and resilient, but sometimes withdrawn.

Shooting to begin Mid-March in the UK. Must have a valid passport.
