Set against the backdrop of World War II, ‘Broadsword‘ is an upcoming war drama that promises to be both gripping and emotionally resonant. The film follows a Marine Sergeant who crash-lands in Nazi-occupied France and, as the sole survivor of his mission, teams up with a courageous local girl to navigate treacherous terrain and evade enemy forces in a desperate bid to reach Allied territory. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-written with Erik Jendresen, the film is currently in pre-production, with shooting scheduled to commence in July 2025 across locations in the United Kingdom and France.
