Greta Gerwig, acclaimed for her directorial work on ‘Barbie‘, ‘Lady Bird‘ and ‘Little Women‘, is set to helm Netflix’s adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s beloved series, ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, entitled simply ‘Narnia‘. This ambitious project involves at least two films, with the first scheduled for an IMAX theatrical release on Thanksgiving Day 2026, followed by its Netflix debut on Christmas Day 2026.
